Lyrics

The Poor old wombat is all forgotten and the koala sit quietly there
What are they saying for Australiana? Some people don’t really care

Let’s lend a hand For Australia lets go were the snow gum stands
Let’s lend a hand to the poor old farmer let’s do it for the southern land

We watch our rivers as they stop flowing down to the land that dry
The cocky praying for a little water to keep his stock alive

Let’s lend a hand For Australia lets go were the snow gum stands
Let’s lend a hand to the poor old farmer let’s do it for the southern land

The Poor old wombat is all forgotten and the koala sit quietly there
What are they saying for Australiana? Some people don’t really care

Let’s lend a hand For Australia lets go were the snow gum stands
Let’s lend a hand to the poor old farmer let’s do it for the southern land
